Storylines
Georgia: The Bulldogs got exposed a bit by Auburn the last time out, when the offensive line struggle to protect quarterback Jake Fromm, and running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel were constantly forced to change direction in the backfield. If they’re going to have a chance this go-round, the offensive line will have to be better and coordinator Jim Chaney will have to mix in more screens, draws and other plays that neutralize Auburn’s strength — the defensive line. In November when the two met, Auburn forced Georgia out of its comfort zone, and the Bulldogs had no answer. They have to prevent that from happening in the rematch.

Canelo vs Chavez Live Fight

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. have a tough act to follow Saturday night.
Some are dubbing the Canelo vs. Chavez Jr. fight as boxing’s “Mexican Super Bowl.” Canelo, the former junior middleweight and middleweight champion, squares off against Chavez Jr., his long-time rival and former middleweight champion, in a catchweight bout of 164.5 pounds from the sold-out T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.Canelo vs Chavez
Canelo (48-1-1, 34 KOs) is currently boxing’s No. 1 attraction. He’s coming off a ninth-round TKO victory over Liam Smith in September. After the victory, many were hoping for the highly anticipated dream fight between he and unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, but the Mexican star opted for the bout against Chavez.

Chavez, 31, (50-2-1, 32 KOs) has had an up-and-down career but finally appears to have everything together. He took a 17-month hiatus between fights and returned with a vengeance back in December, defeating Dominik Britsch by unanimous decision.
A fight between Canelo and Chavez Jr. was proposed in late 2011 and into early 2012. Both sides blamed one another for the fight falling through.
EXCLUSIVE: Canelo ‘never thought’ Chavez fight would happen
Canelo would fight Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto and Amir Khan. Chavez lost his middleweight title to Sergio Martinez in a fight he admittedly didn’t take seriously. His career went into a tailspin as his issues of missing weight continued and his drive was questioned.
Due to Chavez’s issues in the past of missing weight, a clause was inserted into the contract that Chavez will be fined $1 million per pound over the 164.5-pound limit. Canelo signed the same clause.
The animosity between the two is authentic. Canelo feels Chavez is lazy and has gotten by solely on his name, while Chavez feels Alvarez is ducking Golovkin. Chavez also doesn’t like the fact Canelo has seemingly replaced his father as the biggest name in Mexican boxing.
Saturday night, we’ll find out who is the biggest name in Mexican boxing.
